Recently, Apple issued a minor kernel extension update for OS X, but the update had a bug that disabled ethernet. If the Internet is not working on only one device but working fine on other devices connected to the same network, then chances there is an issue with the device’s WiFi adapter or the Routers and that particular devices are having a hard time to communicate. To help fix your ‘no internet access’ issue, we are going to list down nine steps that should fix it. Get connected over Wi-Fi and follow these steps. • Launch Terminal ( Applications > Utilities). • Enter the following: sudo softwareupdate —background This will update Incompatible Kernel Extension Configuration Data to version 3.28.2, which will correct the problem.
